Anti-Corruption Tools Inventory
The UN Global Compact Anti-Corruption Tools InventoryThe UN Global Compact 10th principle working group decided at its June 2008 meeting in Vienna to develop an online Anti-Corruption Tools Inventory. The inventory is intended to guide companies through various initiatives and tools, which may be considered relevant in implementing the 10th principle: "Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery." The inventory consists of existing anti-corruption tools and resources presented in alphabetical order that companies can easily review and access. The tools included in the inventory are meant to offer guidance and assistance to companies in their fight against bribery and corruption and can all be accessed free of charge or at a token amount. Each tool includes a short description, including purpose, the types of corruption the tool addresses, target audience, functionality and key content. The inventory has been developed by Global Advice Network with funding from Business Anti-Corruption Portal Partners. The inventory is based on Global Advice Network's own research and reviews of other inventories, most notably the inventory developed by the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC). We thank BIAC and the members of the 10th principle for having contributed to the inventory. The list of anti-corruption tools included in this inventory is by no means exhaustive, and users are kindly invited to contact the Global Compact or Global Advice Network with comments or suggestions for other relevant initiatives that could be added. Neither the Global Compact nor Global Advice Network takes any responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided.
